Beijing, 4 p.m.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeman Kong Quan got all whingy and whiny today about
comments made by Japan's Foreign Minister earlier regarding Japan's occupation leading
up to and during World War 2.
"Totally unacceptable," said the Chinaman. "Everyone knows the Japanese were bad people
back then, just as they are bad people now. We have no intention of visiting the war-
glorifying Yasukuni Shrine to worship bad people."
Still stubbornly refusing to just shut up and do what it's told, China has decided to
hide behind its usual smokescreen of lies and half-truths in refuting the true facts as
iterated by the Japanese government.
"Chinese people were treated like slaves and murdered by the Imperial Army," said Kong,
looking shiftier by the minute. "The whole world knows this."
Earlier today. Foreign Minister Taro Aso sought to shed some illuminating perspective on
the glorious colonial era when Imperial Japan brought peace to the East Asian region. He
also called on China to "quit whinging like a spoiled brat" whenever the topic of the
colonisation is brought up. Unfortunately, Beijing's response failed to heed the steely
words of Aso, and chose instead to retreat into their foot-stamping tantrum routine of
the past few years. On hearing the response, Minister Aso had this to say:
"Kodomo mitai."
