Sydney, November 17
Japanese import, Kazuyoshi Miura, wowed fans and critics alike with a sparkling display
of soccer genius in Sydney tonight. Miura, in top form, dribbled deftly, passed precisely and
scored effortlessly in a gruelling training session that left many players puffed and ready for a shower.
While Australia was locking horns with Uruguay in an epic battle of penalty kicks,
true soccer fans were watching one of the game's genuine greats showing off his amazing skills
in a display that has been described as "Pelean". So much was Kazu's domination of the session
that he single handedly drew attention away from the World Cup qualifying match that eventually saw
Australia secure a berth in the finals for the first time in thirty years.
